New Zealand suffered a strong 7.5 degree earthquakeagain since 5 years ago and fortunately that it’s not in the densely populatedarea. Wherever you can see, the road ruptured the scene messy.

But the NewZealand people have shown a very optimistic attitude for the disaster mainlydue to the earthquake did not cause very large casualties. New Zealand islocated at the junction of the Pacific plate and the Australian plate. That isan earthquake-prone zone because it’s strongly dived by the impact of the westward Pacific plateon its east. There is strong seismic activity. The 8 degree earthquake happenednear the capital Wellington almost destroyed the entire Wellington area in1855.

为此，新西兰政府非常重视防震工作，新西兰建筑研究协会是专门研究抗震建筑的机构，经过多年实验，他们发现轻钢龙骨结构实用性极强，并在政府大力支持下广泛推广，最终在历次地震中最小化了人员伤亡。

After thisdisaster, the New Zealand government was highly alerted and attaches greatimportance to earthquake prevention work. The New Zealand Institute for BuildingResearch (NZRA), which specializes in seismic structures, has studied for manyyears and found that light gauge steel keel structures are highly practical.And then the light gauge steel structure is widely promoted, which minimizecasualties in previous earthquakes.

The worst lossesof New Zealand's earthquake in recent years, is the Christchurch CTV NewsBuilding in 2011, which almost completely destroyed in the earthquake, and 115people killed.

轻钢建筑的楼面由冷弯薄壁型钢架或组合梁、楼面OSB结构板，支撑、连接件等组成。所用的材料是定向刨花板，水泥纤维板，以及胶合板。 在这些轻质楼面上每平方米可承受316~365公斤的荷载。

The roof systemis composed of roof frame, structural OSB panel, and waterproof layer, lightroofing tile (metal or asphalt shingles).
